Dragoman is a BrightSmith Apps product. BrightSmith Apps is a brand of JNG Services LLC, which provides the service.

What we store

To be your coach, Dragoman remembers you: your account details, the memories and preferences you share, the vocabulary and grammar you’re working on, and your progress over time. In voice sessions we also store the audio of your turns so the coach can respond and you can review them. All of it exists for one purpose — to make the coaching better for you.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service. They process your data only to provide these functions. The service providers we currently rely on are:

  • xAI — primary voice transcription (speech-to-text) of your practice audio, and the coach’s spoken voice (text-to-speech).
  • Deepgram — backup voice transcription when the primary service is unavailable.
  • OpenAI — coach conversation in text and voice, and learning extraction (what you’re working on); also backup coach speech synthesis.
  • Anthropic — backup coach conversation, practice-scenario setup, and session summaries.
  • Supabase — your account, learning data, and audio storage.
  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing and merchant of record when you subscribe or buy voice credit (name, email, and payment details as needed to complete checkout).
  • Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics, with request data and identifying headers scrubbed before sending. For a sample of sessions (and when an error occurs) this includes a replay of page activity with on-screen text and media masked.
  • Upstash — request rate limiting on the affiliate application form.

If we change or add service providers (for example, additional voice-processing vendors), we will update this page before they handle your data.

We don’t sell your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone beyond the providers listed above who help us run Dragoman.

Deleting your data

To request deletion of your account and data, contact us; a dedicated support address is being finalized and will be published on this page. In-app deletion is also coming.
